can i use your dns server?

yeah! we offer a dns server for those interested. it:

• uses quad9 as the upstream dns (and nextdns as a fallback but quad9 shouldnt go down very often)
• has many aggressive filter lists so it should cover pretty much everything
• accessible through plain DNS, DoH and DoT

Terms and conditions

• by using this DNS server you agree that trans rights are human rights and that Donald Trump is an fascist piece of shit;
• don't use the DNS to commit felonies, crimes, or be evil;
• No SLA of any kind, this server is not high availability and the sysadmin is a dumbass;
• if you want us to whitelist a domain, ask nicely;
• your IP will be logged in our system logs, idk where, i'm not looking at this.

what does your server run on?

right now, it runs on Contabo's VPS 1 (4*vCPU, 6GB RAM). we plan to deploy vulpecula.zone on our own infrastructure someday.

the server runs NixOS and nginx as the reverse proxy. all of our infrastructure can be looked at in the NixOS config repo.

the domain is provided by Glauca Digital.
